Infant, Child, Parents and Behavior

Attention to the behavior of children is important for parents. Excessive verbal abuse may be a clue to inappropriate child rearing practices. From a primary prevention perspective, an observation of a child’s behavior and the parent–child interactions as appropriate for age may be an opportunity to provide parents with positive feedback about the quality of their parenting. Behavior and basis of brain development (Neurodevelopment) are intertwined. The response of parents to those tantrums shapes the child’s behavior patterns.
